As an HR and Sourcing Specialist, you will use active and passive sourcing strategies to identify and engage qualified candidates. Your expertise in creative sourcing techniques and relationship-building will be essential in matching candidates to the unique needs of our clients. Your ability to think outside the box and creatively source candidates on free platforms will be a key driver of success in this role.

We are looking for the following specific requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in remote recruitment with a focus on both active and passive sourcing strategies
  • Familiarity with tools like Airtable for tracking candidates, Zoom for interviews, Asana for task management, and Canva for creating visually appealing job ads or recruitment materials.
  • Expertise in leveraging social media (LinkedIn, Facebook groups, Twitter, etc.) to identify and engage top talent
  • Creative use of online communities and forums for passive candidate outreach
  • Familiarity with freelance platforms for discovering candidates open to remote opportunities
  • Proficiency in Boolean searches to maximize the potential of free job boards like Indeed, Seek and the like
  • Resourcefulness in building a talent pipeline through referrals, personal networks, and word-of-mouth strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and candidates simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of remote work trends and best practices is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage candidates and maintain professional relationships.
  • A knack for spotting potential in candidates outside of traditional sources or methods

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Develop and post engaging job ads on various platforms, job boards, and social media channels.
  • Proactively search for candidates using job boards, online databases, and professional networking platforms
  • Use advanced search techniques to identify passive candidates via Indeed, Social Media, Seek and other free platforms
  • Leverage networking, referrals, and social media to build relationships with top talent who are not actively seeking new roles
  • Create and maintain a talent pipeline for future recruitment needs
  • Conduct thorough candidate screenings to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Collaborate with managers or clients to understand job requirements and hiring needs.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and clients.
  • Assist in negotiating offers and ensuring smooth onboarding for successful hires
  • Stay updated on recruitment trends and tools to enhance sourcing strategies
